# Srilal Siriwardhane

> Associate Technical Lead at 99x, Colombo, Sri Lanka. GenAI engineer. Builds AI systems and developer tools.

I lead engineering work at 99x in Colombo, where I spend most of my time turning large language models into software that enterprises can actually ship and run.
Before that I spent three years on the 99x Research Team prototyping practical GenAI systems. Outside work I build developer tools, mostly because I want them to exist.
I am finishing an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Moratuwa, on making transformer embedding models run well on edge hardware.
